Cloud Security Implementation

Harden your cloud environment from the ground up.

Cloud platforms ship with broad defaults. Left unchanged, those defaults create real exposure. CyKnox implements practical cloud security controls across SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS - without vendor bias, without disrupting operations.

Who this is for

Cloud security debt is almost universal. The organizations that manage it well are the ones who address it systematically.

Cloud infrastructure grew quickly without security governance to match
IAM roles and permissions have accumulated without regular review
Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace are configured with weak defaults
Cloud workloads lack consistent logging, monitoring, or access controls
A cloud security review flagged gaps but left no remediation path
The team needs to demonstrate cloud security posture to customers or auditors

Platforms and environments we cover

We work across the full cloud stack. If your environment spans multiple platforms, we cover all of them in a single engagement.

Microsoft 365 - Exchange, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, Defender
Google Workspace - Gmail, Drive, Admin, OAuth, Workspace security
AWS - IAM, S3, VPC, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, Security Hub
Azure - Active Directory, network security groups, Defender for Cloud
GCP - IAM, Cloud Armor, Security Command Center, logging
Kubernetes - RBAC, pod security, network policies, image hygiene
Identity federation, SSO, and MFA configuration
Cloud logging pipelines, alerting thresholds, and SIEM integration

How cloud security implementation works

We start with a baseline assessment of the current state - reviewing identity configuration, network controls, logging coverage, and workload exposure. This gives us a clear picture of where the gaps are before we recommend or implement anything.

Implementation follows a risk-prioritized sequence. The highest-impact, lowest-disruption changes come first. Everything is documented so your team understands what was changed, why it was changed, and how to maintain it.

We work with your existing tools and platforms. We do not push replacement products or require new vendor relationships unless there is a genuine capability gap that cannot be addressed otherwise.

What you receive

Cloud security baseline assessment
Prioritized hardening recommendations
IAM and access policy review
Network and data control configurations
Monitoring and detection setup guidance
Implementation runbook for your team
Post-implementation validation check

Common questions

Is this service vendor-specific or cloud-agnostic?

Fully cloud-agnostic. We work across AWS, Azure, GCP, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and hybrid environments. We have no vendor preference or partner incentives.

Do you configure the changes or only recommend them?

Both, depending on the engagement scope. We can provide recommendations with runbooks, or work directly with your team to configure and implement changes.

What access do you need to the environment?

We work with read-level access for assessment phases and agree on change-level access for implementation phases. Scope and access boundaries are defined in the engagement agreement.

Does this include ongoing managed services?

No. This is a project-based implementation and hardening service. We do not provide ongoing monitoring, managed detection, or a cloud security operations function.

Ready to strengthen your cloud security posture?

We scope cloud security engagements clearly upfront. Tell us your environment and priorities - we will tell you exactly what a practical engagement looks like.
